Paid Vacation:

Request the time off you want in Hot Schedules and in the comment put: “Paid Vacation”

We will take your average hours worked on your past 6 paid checks to calculate how much time you will receive that is paid off.

Note: PTO expires every year. You may only take PTO between January - October. Any time take off between November and December will not be paid.

Break food rules:

  • If you work over 5 hours, you will get a paid break during your shift.

  • You may get a small entree and a side (expect for Mac and Cheese).

  • You may get a salad instead of an entree and side if you wish.

  • If you work less than 5 hours, you may eat before or after your shift. If you choose to eat before, you must eat your food before you scheduled clock in time.

Scholarship Opportunities

Eligible Restaurant Team Members across the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico can apply for college scholarships through the Chick-fil-A Remarkable Futures Scholarship initiative. There are three scholarship opportunities:

  • $1,000 and $2,500 scholarships

    • To be considered, Team Members must have at least a 2.5 minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA).

  • $25,000 Scholarship

    • To be considered, Team Members must show demonstrated financial need and have at least a 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA. 

    • Recipients are invited to participate in the Chick-fil-A Scholars Program, a one-year engagement that includes mentoring and leadership development both virtually and in-person.

  • Application process:

    • Applications open around August and close in October.

    • Results are announced around April and funds are applied to the upcoming fall semester.

    • Chris will send out information and interest sign up forms before the application process opens up.
